5-Day Guilin and Yangshuo Family Tour | Terraces, Rice & River Days

Your Guilin and Yangshuo family tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet the local guide and driver at the Guilin arrival point confirmed in your booking, then transfer to the selected hotel. Keep the rest of the day unhurried. Nearby walks and restaurant suggestions are available for early arrivals, while independent time has no continuing sightseeing guide or vehicle.

Drive about 2–2.5 hours each way to the Longji area for selected Ping’an or another agreed village route suited to the family. Allow 3–4 hours for terraces, timber houses and irrigation details without a long inter-village trek. The included 45–60-minute bamboo-rice activity gives children age-appropriate preparation while staff handle heat and sharp tools. Confirm dietary needs and a less demanding walking plan before travel.

Longji Rice Terraces

Take the assigned four-star Li River cruise, normally 3.5–4.5 hours through the operating river section. Indoor seating and open-deck viewing offer different ways to observe peaks and riverbanks, with children supervised near railings. Meet the vehicle after the actual landing point and check in. Keep the remainder relaxed; a quieter-time West Street walk is optional if energy allows. Cruise piers and duration can change with navigation controls.

Li River Cruise

Arrange the Yulong River raft only after confirming every child meets the chosen pier’s current restrictions; a family itinerary does not override height or age rules. Continue with a 1.5–2-hour ride on suitable flatter roads, using only approved child equipment or the agreed vehicle-and-walk alternative. Retain Fuli’s fan-making setting: the 1.5–2-hour painted-fan workshop is separately quoted as an add-on, with materials and the finished fan agreed before booking.

Keep the final morning easy, with time for children’s equipment and luggage before the private road transfer to the booked Guilin airport or station. Allow around 1.5–2.5 hours depending on the terminal, plus departure formalities.
