DAY 01Dali arrival → Erhai shore

Your 4-day Dali and Lijiang slow tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your driver at Dali Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. After a rest, take a measured walk along the designated Erhai S-bend waterfront, where waterside lanes meet village and farming landscapes. Cangshan may appear across the lake in clear weather. The afternoon visit needs a timely arrival; dinner is included, with the menu and dietary requests confirmed before travel.

DAY 02One Dali experience → Lijiang

Choose one included Dali programme: a seasonal supervised mushroom outing; a forest-adventure camp; a Bai tie-dye or tea workshop; or a Xizhou–Shuanglang town excursion instead of a workshop. The selected option, materials, activities and operator conditions are confirmed in advance, not all four combined. Wild mushrooms must never be self-selected for eating. After the activity, drive about 2.5–3 hours to Lijiang. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

DAY 03Baisha → Yuhu → Painting workshop

Explore Baisha’s old lanes and permitted mural halls, where several artistic traditions meet, then continue to Yuhu’s stone-built Naxi village at the mountain’s foot. Introduce Joseph Rock’s documented local residence without claiming a proven connection to the fictional Shangri-La. Join the booked thangka-inspired painting workshop with a local artist, using a small format suitable for an introductory session. The artist explains the motifs and process; materials, drying and collection arrangements are agreed in advance. This is a visitor art lesson, not a promise to complete an expertly consecrated religious painting in one afternoon. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

After the included breakfast, explore Lijiang Old Town independently if your departure time allows. Follow the water channels and lanes at your own pace rather than adding a fixed guided circuit. Meet the driver for the confirmed Lijiang airport or railway-station transfer, allowing luggage movement from pedestrian hotel areas as well as road travel and check-in.

Booking, payment & cancellation

Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
