Your Tiger Leaping Gorge day trip starts with the following arrangements. Meet your private driver at the agreed central Lijiang hotel and travel around 1.5–2.5 hours to the official Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge visitor entrance. Confirm the return meeting point before entering independently. Allow about 2–3 hours for open managed walkways and designated views of the Jinsha River, its central rock and the canyon walls.
This is a driver-transfer excursion: no English-speaking guide, trail escort or hiking instruction accompanies you inside. The planned package includes main entrance admission according to its pricing specification; lift tickets and any scenic transport are listed separately before booking. Return to the same central hotel after a lunch break at your own expense. The visit does not include the restricted High Trail, Middle Gorge ladders or an informal riverside descent.

Booking, payment & cancellation
Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.
Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
