7-Day Altay Kanas and Hemu Winter Tour | Skiing & Village Portraits

Your Altay Kanas and Hemu winter tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your arrival representative at Altay Xuedu Airport and transfer to the city hotel. Keep the first day easy while the local team checks clothing, luggage and any prebooked ski equipment.

The next week is based on the actual winter-road permissions and resort operations. Early arrivals may take a short nearby walk or choose a recommended local meal at their own expense.

Visit Jiangjunshan for the one activity option selected before booking: skiing on suitable open terrain, or permitted resort sightseeing. The pass category, lifts, hours, equipment and any instruction are named in the quotation; these two options do not share every facility or ticket.

A late-day viewpoint is possible only if weather and the relevant lift timetable allow it. Return to the same Altay hotel. Sunset and unrestricted night skiing are not guaranteed additions.

Jiangjunshan International Ski Resort

Travel toward Kanas on the road authorised for the actual weather and vehicle, provisionally about 5–7 hours before longer breaks or delays. The itinerary does not guarantee winter use of the Ahe scenic road or another summer shortcut.

Visit accessible lakeside viewpoints if arrival and daylight permit, then settle into the confirmed heated Kanas-area property. Exact location, beds, private bathroom, hot water and luggage access are written into the booking rather than inferred from the word ‘cabin’.

Kanas Lake

Pause at the open managed viewpoints around Fairy, Moon and Wolong bays before continuing to Hemu, normally about 3–5 hours for road and scenic connections when conditions permit. Short walks follow maintained visitor paths, with no venture onto frozen water or closed forest slopes.

Check into the agreed cabin or boutique property for two nights. Remaining time can be used for a short village walk and rest before the full ski day. Heating, room occupancy and bathing facilities follow the actual confirmed property.

Open Kanas Three Bays viewpoints · Hemu Village

Transfer to Jikepulin and use the planned day pass on the open runs selected for your ability. Collect only the rental items booked in advance and follow the agreed lesson schedule if you have chosen qualified instruction. The travel guide’s language support is separate from technical teaching.

Return to the same Hemu accommodation after equipment returns. Non-skiers can request a confirmed village or resort-sightseeing option with its own transfer and ticket terms. Closed terrain and backcountry skiing are not part of the standard day.

Jikepulin International Ski Resort

Join the included 1–1.5-hour morning portrait session in permitted village lanes and accessible river-valley viewpoints. The photographer chooses locations for the actual conditions. Image count, editing and delivery are confirmed; costumes, styling, video and drone work are separate requests, with local permissions required.

After packing, drive back to Altay, provisionally around 4–6 hours plus breaks, using a permitted winter route. A longer detour may be necessary if the shorter road is closed. Bring photography forward or shorten it by agreement to fit road-access windows; mist, sunrise colour and snow in the trees are not guaranteed.

Hemu Village

Return equipment as agreed, pack bags and meet the private driver for Altay Xuedu Airport. The hotel pickup is timed around the actual flight and winter check-in margin.

The standard itinerary ends in Altay, with a city overnight before departure rather than a same-day Hemu road-to-flight connection. Extra nights or a different airport require a separate quotation.
