DAY 02Huangguoshu → Doupotang → Tianxingqiao

Make an early start for the roughly 2–2.5-hour drive to Huangguoshu. Official shuttles connect the main waterfall, Doupotang and Tianxingqiao; reserve about 6–7 hours for viewpoints, uneven waterside paths and breaks. Water Curtain Cave passage depends on water and site controls. Return to Guiyang after the complete scenic-area visit, making this a long day with about 4–5 hours of road travel in addition to sightseeing.

Drive about 2.5–3 hours to Kaili and explore the museum’s textile, silverwork and festival displays before a roughly two-hour Matang village visit. Meet the booked local craftsperson for wax-pattern and indigo-dyeing explanations; any finished piece and hands-on materials follow the workshop agreement. Treat living homes and residents with respect, avoiding the assumption that every village visit includes a staged welcome.

DAY 04Shiqiao paper workshop → Langde Upper Village

Travel to Shiqiao for a booked 2–2.5-hour introduction to handmade paper, including fibre preparation and sheet lifting when the production schedule allows. Decorative flower or leaf paper follows the agreed workshop format. Continue to Langde Upper Village for a 1.5–2-hour walk past raised timber houses and shared community spaces. Music or welcome ceremonies depend on the local programme and are not privately guaranteed.

DAY 05Tang’an → Terrace trail → Zhaoxing

Leave Kaili early for the 3.5–4-hour road journey to Tang’an. Explore the village before the planned 2–2.5-hour downhill terrace walk to Zhaoxing, replacing the walk with a vehicle connection if rain or fitness makes it unsuitable. Spend the remaining 2–3 hours among Zhaoxing’s drum towers and covered bridges. Tonight uses a selected local property, not an automatic international four-star facilities promise.

Transfer to Congjiang station for the booked second-class train to the confirmed Guiyang station. Plan around 1.5–2 hours on the service, with separate road and station allowances; no undated 08:50 departure is guaranteed. A Guiyang-based driver handles the agreed onward transfer. A direct train toward Guilin or Guangzhou is an advance itinerary variation, not an extra journey included alongside the return.

Booking, payment & cancellation

Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
