Snow-covered roofs and lanterns are the focus, with blue-hour colour dependent on weather.

Stay at the specified local inn, which may use a kang bed and simpler facilities than city hotels. Private bathroom, room occupancy and heating are agreed before booking. A public Yangge event is included in viewing plans only if officially scheduled, not as a private performance promise.

China Snow Town

Travel from Snow Town to the managed Jingpo Lake visitor area, provisionally around 3–4 hours. Spend about 1.5–2 hours near the open Diaoshuilou viewpoints, learning how lava helped create the lake landscape. Ice shapes and visible flowing water depend on weather and operations.

Continue about 2–3 hours to Dunhua rather than pushing on to the mountain gateway tonight. Winter fishing and diving displays require an actual official event and permission; they are not guaranteed parts of this transfer day. Keep river and lake viewing within marked visitor areas.

Jingpo Lake · Diaoshuilou Waterfall

Drive roughly 2–2.5 hours to Erdaobaihe, then follow the open Beauty Pine park and elevated visitor paths for about 1–1.5 hours. A planned local folk-museum visit of around one hour adds context for the region, subject to its actual venue, opening and passport arrangements.

The planned 1.5–2-hour hot-spring session follows at a confirmed property. The venue, included pools, swimwear and child rules are agreed before booking; a private bath or a named luxury hotel is not assumed. Stay in the gateway town for two nights.

Use the official transport from the North Scenic Area hub, allowing roughly 6–8 hours for an achievable selection of open stops. Tianchi is the intended high viewpoint only when the separate summit vehicle and weather permit. Summit access can close while lower attractions remain open.

Continue among the operating waterfall, Julong hot-spring viewpoints, Luyuantan and Underground Forest routes according to dispatch, daylight and the group’s pace. The list is not a promise that every trail operates simultaneously or that every stop receives its longest suggested visit. Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area

Join the planned 40–60-minute winter rafting session only on the confirmed licensed river section, with equipment, operating temperature and participant conditions agreed. Rime is an occasional weather effect, not a guaranteed product. Return to warm up and fit the short agreed cultural introduction or town time around the train.

Transfer to Changbaishan Railway Station for a dated second-class service to Changchun, provisionally about 2–3 hours depending on the train. A separate Changchun driver meets you on arrival. The itinerary specifies the receiving station and actual rail fare rather than promising an old fixed running time.

Licensed winter river-rafting venue

Allow around 2.5–3 hours for the open museum route through Puyi’s former residence and administrative setting under the Japanese-sponsored Manchukuo regime. Interpretation places the buildings in the context of occupation and modern regional history rather than presenting the complex simply as another imperial palace.

Continue to Longjia Airport or the confirmed Changchun railway station. Choose a departure late enough for the visit, winter roads and check-in. An early service requires an agreed change rather than a shortened museum stop concealed in the plan.
