Follow the temple’s clothing, access and photography rules; a special religious ceremony is not a scheduled performance.

Continue at a relaxed pace along Saishang Old Street or the agreed nearby lanes, with time to choose local food or simply look around. There is no compulsory shopping stop. Stay in a Hohhot city hotel tonight, rather than another night in a grassland yurt.

Keep the final day free around your actual flight or train. A nearby independent walk may suit a late departure, but no extra museum is compulsory or silently added to the price.
