Begin with around 1.5 hours at Baotu Spring, then follow Qushuiting Street into Baihuazhou’s water-lined neighbourhoods for a further 1.5 hours. Your guide relates the courtyards and small waterways to Jinan’s spring-fed setting.

In a booked 1.5–2-hour Lu embroidery class, learn how the frame, thread and fabric work together before trying one or two basic stitches on a prepared design. The included simple piece is an introduction rather than a complex finished embroidery. End with about 1.5 hours beside Daming Lake, allowing a lunch break between sessions.

Trading lanes and shopfronts introduce the district’s merchant and silk-trade history.

Join the included one-hour sesame-biscuit workshop to try the agreed preparation and baking stages of these thin, crisp biscuits. Wheat and sesame are common ingredients, so disclose allergies before booking. Hot surfaces are handled under the instructor’s direction. Stay in Zibo.

Zhoucun Ancient Commercial City

Spend 2.5–3 hours at the China Ceramics and Glass Museum, comparing clay, glaze and coloured-glass work through selected objects. In the booked 1.5–2-hour pottery session, choose wheel throwing or underglaze painting. The glass component is an artisan demonstration, not an unsupervised flame-working activity.

Firing cannot normally be completed during the short class. Agree collection, delivery costs and the limits of shipping before deciding what to make. Transfer to Zibo or Zibo North for the actual second-class train to Weifang, where the next local team meets you. Museum time, the class, lunch and station procedures need to fit the booked train rather than a fixed invented departure.

China Ceramics And Glass Museum

Allow 1.5–2 hours at the Weifang World Kite Museum to compare frames, materials and the different shapes designed to catch the wind. Continue to Shihu Garden for about 1–1.5 hours among its compact courts, rockwork and covered paths.

At Yangjiabu Folk Art Grand View Garden, spend around three hours exploring folk craft and completing the included basic woodblock print and kite-painting activities. The artisan provides the prepared kite frame; building an entire bamboo frame is an extra class, not part of this short session. Outdoor flying depends on permission and weather, so the core experience remains the indoor craft work. This full day needs lunch and road links between its three venues.

For departure through Qingdao Jiaodong Airport, a station transfer plus a second-class train to Qingdao Airport Station can be arranged as an alternative. The actual train, terminal access, luggage handling and flight check-in margin must be confirmed together; it is not an automatic airport drop-off included in the standard Weifang finish.
