DAY 01Arrival and time to settle in
Your 3-day Kunming and Stone Forest tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet the confirmed local reception team at the Kunming airport or station specified in your booking and transfer to your hotel. Keep the rest of the day unhurried after travelling. Nearby walks and food suggestions are available for early arrivals, but independent exploration does not include an ongoing sightseeing vehicle or guide.

DAY 02Stone Forest → Yuantong Temple
Drive about 1.5–2 hours each way to Shilin for approximately three hours among the Major and Minor Stone Forest’s limestone pinnacles and passages. Use the guide’s route to balance geological detail with steps and shade. Return for 1–1.5 hours at Yuantong Temple, where its descending arrangement, pond and halls offer an architectural contrast. Any Sani cultural performance depends on the site’s programme rather than a guaranteed private show.

DAY 03Western Hills → Old streets → Departure
Allow 3–3.5 hours at the Western Hills with the booked shuttle and cableway or chairlift, followed by open Dragon Gate paths. Narrow passages and continuous steps still require walking. Return for the planned Old Street and Jingxing market-area walk when the departure time permits, then transfer to the confirmed airport or station. A domestic flight after 18:00 is a planning preference, not a guarantee; earlier departures need an agreed shorter programme.

Booking, payment & cancellation
Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.
Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
