Walk Zhuanxin Farmers’ Market for 1.5–2 hours, comparing seasonal vegetables, spices, tofu and prepared foods. The guide selects the agreed cooked tastings and explains ingredients rather than encouraging raw sampling. Continue through Kunming Old Street before the booked 1–1.5-hour flower-cake class. Prepare filling and pastry with an instructor; edible-flower supply, dietary substitutions and the finished cakes are confirmed with the workshop.

DAY 03Rail → Xianrendong → Lake boat → Qinglong Mountain

Take the booked second-class train from Kunming South to Puzhehei, then a local road transfer of around 30–45 minutes. Explore Xianrendong village for 1–1.5 hours before the scheduled authorised lake-boat route, allowing 2–3 hours including boarding and stops. Lotus displays are seasonal. A Qinglong Mountain visit adds about 1–1.5 hours with stone steps, making this a full day that needs a sufficiently early train.

Spend 2–2.5 hours around Puzhehei village and accessible countryside, learning which fish, tofu, lotus ingredients and vegetables are genuinely in season. In the booked 2–2.5-hour cooking session, prepare two or three agreed home-style dishes with the instructor and taste the results. An afternoon cycle or lakeside walk lasts about 1–1.5 hours, with a shorter walk if conditions are unsuitable. Do not enter private fields or pick protected plants.

DAY 05Puzhehei rail → Kunming onward transfer

Transfer to Puzhehei station and return in booked second class to Kunming South. Select the actual morning service around your onward transport rather than assuming fixed 09:30–10:30 departures. A new Kunming driver meets you for the confirmed airport, station or city address. No sightseeing is added between the rail arrival and flight formalities; allow for station exit, luggage and the cross-city road journey.

Booking, payment & cancellation

Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.

Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
