6-Day Lijiang and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Tour | Villages & Lakes

This Lijiang and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tour starts in Lijiang. Meet your arrival representative and transfer to the selected Lijiang hotel, your base for all five nights. Leave time to rest rather than scheduling an arrival-day attraction. The team confirms the actual airport or railway meeting point and tomorrow’s arrangements.

The proposed High Trail stage currently cannot be confirmed under the official protected-area notice. This six-day draft is held for route review, not offered as a ready-to-book promise of that walk.

Travel from Lijiang to Tiger Leaping Gorge for a light walk within areas open to visitors. Allow around 2–3 hours for walking, viewpoints and breaks, with the exact path and turnaround point selected by the receiving team for the conditions that day. Steps and uneven ground may be involved; wear walking shoes and carry water. Closed sections are excluded.

Return by vehicle to the same Lijiang hotel after the visit. Your main luggage stays at the hotel; carry a daypack for the walk.

Tiger Leaping Gorge — open visitor walking areas

Drive around 40–60 minutes to Yuhu and spend roughly 1.5–2 hours in the village’s public lanes. Your guide explains Naxi stone-built houses, courtyard layouts and the relationship between farming and the mountain slopes. Ask before entering homes or photographing residents.

Continue to Longnu Lake for an approximately one-hour walk on accessible public paths, then return to the same Lijiang hotel. Peak reflections and clear skies are not guaranteed. Any café order is separately paid unless expressly included.

Yuhu Village · Longnu Lake

Travel approximately 45–60 minutes to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, then use the official shuttle and the booked Glacier Park Cableway. The upper station is around 4,506 metres. Explore only the open platforms at your own pace; continuing to the higher steps is not required and oxygen does not remove the altitude burden.

Descend to Blue Moon Valley for roughly 1.5–2 hours near its managed lake paths. Allow a full day for transfers, ticket checks and queues. Wind, weather or unavailable reservations may prevent the high cableway; Yunshanping and Maoniuping are different experiences and need an agreed replacement and price adjustment rather than an automatic substitution.

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain · Blue Moon Valley

Drive around 1–1.5 hours toward Wenhai and walk for approximately 2–3 hours on permitted village, meadow and lakeside paths. The selected circuit depends on land access, seasonal water levels and the group’s pace; Wenhai is not a permanently full lake with guaranteed summer flowers.

Add only an authorised short forest section. The proposed cabin rest stop requires a confirmed location and host permission and is not an overnight camp. Return to Lijiang with the main luggage still at the hotel.

Wenhai Lake

Check out with luggage and drive around 30–45 minutes to the agreed Lashihai viewing area. A walk on permitted paths precedes the proposed 30–45-minute countryside riding experience. Riding is optional, at walking pace with an authorised operator, equipment and supervision; it is not a claim to follow an unchanged ancient trade route. Non-riders use the agreed nearby rest or walking option.

Take the planned lakeside tea break for roughly 45–60 minutes, then allow about 1–1.5 hours to the airport or 45–60 minutes to the station before check-in. The full day is intended for a domestic flight after 18:00 or a train after 17:00, subject to the actual venue and service. Earlier departures require an agreed shorter programme.
