You may take a short independent walk nearby if you wish. We confirm the meeting location and local contact details beforehand; early access to the room follows the hotel’s actual availability.

Walk through the former French Concession at street level, beginning around Wukang Mansion and continuing to Sinan Road. Your guide uses the contrasting façades, garden walls and side lanes to explain how this residential district developed, without treating every villa as a museum open for entry.

Give the walk pauses for a café or a simple local meal at your own expense. These remain lived-in neighbourhoods: photographs should respect residents, and private gardens and interiors are not included. A flexible mix of short vehicle links and walking keeps the day focused on the streets themselves.

Wukang Mansion and Sinan Road

Begin among the towers and riverside public spaces of Lujiazui, then cross to the Bund Financial Center to compare contemporary commercial architecture with the older riverfront. This part of the route is an architectural walk; it does not add an unspecified tower observation-deck ticket.

Continue to the West Bund arts district, where converted waterfront spaces and newer cultural buildings show another phase of Shanghai’s growth. Visit the publicly accessible areas and the exhibition spaces confirmed for your dates. Exhibitions have their own opening schedules and tickets, so the named venue and any paid gallery admission are settled before booking.

Lujiazui public spaces · Bund Financial Center · West Bund arts district

Leave the city by private vehicle for Zhujiajiao, allowing around 1–1.5 hours each way and more when roads are busy. Follow canal-side lanes to Fangsheng Bridge, then take the scheduled canal boat to see the buildings from water level. Walking paths, steps and the boat boarding point are planned around your mobility.

Stay for a local meal at your own expense before returning to Shanghai. Kezhi Garden is a separately paid optional visit rather than an automatic part of the main ticket. Shops and any historic post-office services follow their own opening arrangements; no special access is promised.

Zhujiajiao Water Town · Fangsheng Bridge

Leave the last morning open until your driver collects you for the confirmed airport or railway station. Check the terminal, luggage and departure procedures with us before fixing the pickup time, particularly if you are using an airport on the other side of the city.
