Your Shanghai, Wuzhen and Hangzhou tour begins with the arrangements below. Meet your private driver at the agreed Shanghai arrival point and transfer to your hotel. Today is kept for settling in rather than racing from the airport to a ticketed attraction.

An independent neighbourhood walk or nearby dinner can suit an early arrival, with recommendations matched to your hotel. Room access and any extra transfer requests are confirmed around the actual arrival time.

Read the city from the Bund before crossing to the Oriental Pearl Tower, where the view helps put the older riverfront and Pudong’s development on the same map. Continue to Yu Garden and its neighbouring bazaar, moving from the scale of the skyline to framed ponds, rocks and covered paths.

A scheduled Huangpu River cruise completes the day with both banks seen from the water. The standard sailing and tower admission level are confirmed in your proposal; premium decks and dining are not assumed. Road transfers, ticket queues and a meal break are included in the day’s timing before returning to the Shanghai hotel.

Drive from Shanghai to Wuzhen in roughly 2–3 hours, depending on traffic, and enter Xizha. Walk the canal lanes and visit the indigo-dyeing displays to see how colour, cloth and water shaped local work. A workshop visit does not automatically include a private dyeing class.

A dusk canal boat gives another angle on the waterside houses before you settle into accommodation inside Xizha. Staying within the scenic area leaves time for the evening atmosphere without a return drive to Shanghai. Shadow-puppet or local-opera performances are optional extras, dependent on the published programme and separate tickets.

Wuzhen Xizha

Use the morning for another short walk in Wuzhen before meeting the driver for Hangzhou, a road journey of roughly 1–1.5 hours in normal conditions. Leave time for resort exit and luggage collection as well as the drive.

Visit the Lingyin and Feilai Feng area, distinguishing the Buddhist temple courtyards from the nearby carved rock faces and grottoes. Their entry arrangements are checked separately for your date. You may choose a simple vegetarian meal if the venue is serving, without a fixed menu or price promise. End at your Hangzhou hotel.

Wuzhen · Lingyin Temple · Feilai Feng

Take the scheduled West Lake boat, then continue into the Longjing tea-growing landscape for a village visit and tasting. Discuss leaf shape, aroma and preparation with the host rather than assuming that every season is a picking season. Access to working tea rows and any hands-on picking are arranged only with the grower’s permission and suitable crop conditions.

Your driver then takes you to the confirmed Hangzhou airport or station. Choose an onward departure late enough for the lake, tea visit, road transfer and check-in; an early service needs an agreed adjustment before booking. The route ends in Hangzhou, without a return to Shanghai.
