DAY 01Beijing hotel → Gubei → Simatai by night
Your Simatai and Gubei Water Town tour begins with the arrangements below. Your driver collects you from your downtown Beijing hotel for the roughly 120-kilometre journey to Gubei Water Town; allow around 2–3 hours, depending on traffic. From the permitted drop-off area, continue into the resort, check in and explore independently. Canal-side lanes and an afternoon tea stop leave room to slow down before the evening programme.
The included Simatai night visit uses the booked night-entry-and-cable-car package, with walking restricted to the section opened by the operator. Town light or drone shows follow the date’s programme and weather. A hot-spring visit can be discussed, but its access and fee need confirmation. This is a driver-transfer and self-guided break, with no accompanying tour guide.

DAY 02Simatai by day → craft choice → Beijing hotel
After breakfast, return to Simatai for a daylight view of the wall’s ridgeline. Day admission is included, but the daytime cable car is separately payable; choose the open walking section and lift arrangements to suit your ability. Stairs and steep stretches still require care.
Back in the town, use the included craft choice for either lantern making or kite painting, subject to the confirmed workshop session. A canal boat is optional and separately paid. Meet your driver at the agreed collection point for the return to your downtown Beijing hotel, allowing road and luggage time. Airport transfers and a guide are outside this two-day arrangement.

Submit your inquiry or tailor-made request online, and our travel consultant will contact you within one working day.
We will then work with you to refine the itinerary and quotation until the travel plan is confirmed, with no charge for itinerary adjustments.
Once you approve the itinerary and quotation, a deposit of at least 10% of the total tour price is required to secure the booking and reserve local travel services. After payment, we will issue an official payment receipt.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure. Once full payment is received, we will issue your final Tour Confirmation with the confirmed travel arrangements.
Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more before departure: 90% of the total amount paid is refundable.
15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total amount paid is refundable.
Within 14 days of departure: The total amount paid is non-refundable.
