Follow a compact Summer Palace route for around 2–2.5 hours, then spend around 1–1.5 hours at Yonghe Temple, respecting the active Tibetan Buddhist setting. Continue to the airport for a late-afternoon or evening economy-class flight to Zhangjiajie. Hotel pickup and check-in complete the day; flight selection must leave enough time for both Beijing visits and airport procedures.

Allow around 5–6 hours at Tianmen Mountain for the operating transport route, open summit paths and Tianmen Cave. A glass walkway is optional, and the historic long cableway is not assumed to run. After a break, visit 72 Wonder Tower after dark for around 1.5–2 hours of illuminated architecture and dining streets. Performances follow the actual programme rather than a guaranteed fixed list. As checked on 21 October 2026, the operator offers the C route via Tianmen Cave Express Cableway and the upper escalators while the long cableway is closed; recheck the route for your dates.

Tianmen Mountain

Drive roughly 1.5–2 hours to Furong for around 3–4 hours among stone lanes, timber buildings and waterfall viewpoints. Your guide connects the town with Tujia culture and its river-trade setting. Boat and performance additions require confirmed operation. Continue roughly 2–2.5 hours to Wulingyuan, with luggage in the private vehicle, placing tonight’s hotel near the forest park.

Furong Town

Use eco-buses and the Tianzi Mountain Cableway to reach upper viewpoints, then continue by official transport toward Yuanjiajie. Walk selected paths overlooking sandstone pillars and the natural rock bridge before descending by the Bailong Elevator. Give the park a full day with breaks. The whole sequence may operate in reverse, with tickets and access checked rather than fixed transport promises.

Yuanjiajie · Tianzi Mountain

Leave Wulingyuan early for the Grand Canyon, planning around 3.5–4.5 hours for the booked Glass Bridge and open canyon route. Internal transport and any bridge-avoiding alternative depend on the ticket selected in advance. Afterwards allow roughly 1.5–2 hours to the airport plus airline procedures, or connect to a confirmed evening train. Do not book an early departure that squeezes out the canyon.
