6-Day Chongqing, Wulong and Wujiang Tour | Karst & River Towns

Your Chongqing, Wulong and Wujiang tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your guide and driver at the Chongqing airport or railway station named in your booking and travel to the hotel in a private vehicle. The arrival day has no compulsory sightseeing, leaving time for luggage, check-in and rest after the journey. The actual terminal or station and meeting point are confirmed before travel.

An early arrival can leave room for an independent neighbourhood walk and a meal of your choice. Recommendations follow your hotel location and dietary preferences; additional guiding or transport is agreed separately rather than added automatically to the arrival transfer.

Begin on Shancheng Alley’s hillside lanes and Yangtze-facing paths, then stop for the planned air-raid-shelter hotpot experience. The operating restaurant, meal charges and your preferred chilli level are confirmed in advance rather than assuming a particular venue or set menu. Continue to Eling Park for a different view of the ridges and rivers.

At Liziba, watch trains from the public viewing area before visiting Kuixinglou’s changes of street level, Jiefangbei and the evening riverfront near Hongyadong. Short vehicle links do not remove the steps, slopes or crowding. Illumination follows the operating programme; no fixed empty viewpoint or immediate train passage is promised. Return to the Chongqing hotel.

Drive to Wulong, allowing around 3–3.5 hours before the first scenic entry. Use the operator’s shuttle and descent facilities for the Three Natural Bridges, then walk below the limestone arches and through the gorge landscape. The route includes sustained walking and steps rather than a nearly step-free stroll.

Continue to Longshuixia for narrow boardwalks, water and rock walls, then stay in the Wulong area. Both sites need their own admission and scenic-transport arrangements. Allow a full day for the approach, two visits, meal and rest breaks; wet surfaces and operating restrictions can affect the agreed walking plan.

Visit Fairy Mountain’s open grassland and forest routes, using a short walk or the separately confirmed scenic train to suit the conditions. It is a managed mountain park, with visibility and the appearance of the meadows changing by season.

Continue to Furong Cave for the public cave route and its illuminated mineral formations, allowing time for road and entrance connections rather than treating it as adjacent to Fairy Mountain. The cave includes steps and damp surfaces. Afterwards, travel toward the confirmed Pengshui hotel, allowing roughly 1–1.5 hours from the Furong area in normal conditions. The precise route and any cave access lift are confirmed before booking.

Take the scheduled Wujiang Gallery boat, planned for around an hour on the confirmed departure stretch. The wharf, boat operation and water conditions determine what is seen; the cruise is not a multiday Yangtze voyage. Continue by road toward Gongtan for a walk among its riverside houses, stepped lanes and relocated historic-town fabric.

Leave room for the substantial drive back to Chongqing, commonly around 4–5 hours from the Gongtan area depending on the route, rather than assuming the shorter source estimate fits all traffic. The boat, town visit, meal and return must be timed together. Stay in Chongqing after this long road-and-water day.

Keep the last free time for packing, rest or a short walk near the hotel. Your driver collects you at the agreed time for the confirmed Chongqing airport or railway station, allowing the actual road journey, traffic and departure procedures.

No distant attraction is added before this connection. Extra sightseeing or another hotel night can be discussed ahead, with availability, service hours and any supplement agreed before your onward booking is changed.
