Your Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou and Chongqing tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your guide and driver at the Chengdu airport or railway station named in your booking and travel to the hotel in a private vehicle. The arrival day has no compulsory sightseeing, leaving time for luggage, check-in and rest after the journey. The actual terminal or station and meeting point are confirmed before travel.

An early arrival can leave room for an independent neighbourhood walk and a meal of your choice. Recommendations follow your hotel location and dietary preferences; additional guiding or transport is agreed separately rather than added automatically to the arrival transfer.

Make an early start for the Chengdu Panda Base and allow around 3–4 hours for the selected public routes. Your guide explains conservation and daily care while observing the animals’ actual displays; cubs, particular individuals and active feeding are not guaranteed.

Return to Wenshu Monastery for around 1–1.5 hours, then spend approximately 1.5–2 hours in Kuanzhai Alleys’ restored courtyard streets. The reconstructed cottage is not presented as an untouched original home.

Finish at Sichuan Museum for around 1.5–2 hours in the galleries open that day. The two museums have their own reservation and closing arrangements, so this full schedule must be checked against the travel date rather than assuming all halls always open. Meals and local transfers fit between the visits before returning to the hotel.

Chengdu Museum · Du Fu Thatched Cottage · Sichuan Museum

Spend around two hours at Wuhou Shrine, then walk neighbouring Jinli for roughly 1–1.5 hours. The memorial setting and traditional-style commercial lanes give different interpretations of the Three Kingdoms past and contemporary Chengdu, with food and craft purchases chosen independently.

Continue to People’s Park for around 1.5 hours of garden and teahouse time. In the evening, attend the scheduled Sichuan Opera performance, planning around 1.5 hours for the actual programme. Face-changing, music or other acts depend on the chosen show, and backstage access is not promised. Confirm venue, seats and transfers before returning to the hotel.

Wuhou Shrine · Jinli Street · Chengdu People's Park

Transfer early to Chengdu East for the confirmed second-class train to Huanglongjiuzhai, around 1.5–2 hours on a suitable service. The source’s early-morning departure is a planning preference, not an invented booked train. Meet the local guide and driver, then travel roughly 45–60 minutes to Huanglong.

Allow around 4–5 hours for the agreed cableway, scenic-vehicle and walking combination among the travertine pools. Upper viewpoints exceed 3,500 metres, with stairs and weather exposure even when using lifts. Continue around 2–2.5 hours to the Jiuzhaigou entrance hotel, leaving the evening clear after this early, high-altitude travel day. Tickets, walking scope and train timing must be confirmed together.

Huanglong Scenic Area

Keep a full day, around 8–9 hours including breaks, for Jiuzhaigou’s three-valley system. Use official buses and the open boardwalks for a practical selection of Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal, Long Lake, Five-Color Pond and Shuzheng’s lakes rather than guaranteeing every upper stop. Shuttle dispatch may alter the order.

Your guide links the water, travertine and forest ecology with the valley’s Tibetan cultural setting, without promising entry into private village homes. Colour, reflections and animal activity vary with light and season. Follow the day’s exit rules and return to the entrance hotel; boardwalks do not make this a walking-free day.

Jiuzhaigou

Leave the hotel early for the roughly 2–2.5-hour road journey to Huanglongjiuzhai. Take the confirmed second-class service to Chengdu East, allowing around 1.5–2.5 hours on the train, then connect there for a further second-class train to the booked Chongqing North or West station, commonly around 1.5–2 hours.

The connection needs enough time for platform changes, luggage and any required station procedures; the source’s indicative arrival window is not a guarantee. Your Chongqing guide and driver meet you and transfer to the hotel. No compulsory attraction follows this substantial travel day. Walk Ciqikou for around two hours among the river-port lanes, teahouses and shops, then visit Liziba’s designated viewing area for roughly 30–45 minutes. Regular train operations provide the opportunity to see the building crossing, without a reserved train or guaranteed immediate passage.

Continue to Kuixinglou for around an hour to understand the changes in street level, then allow approximately 1.5–2 hours around Hongyadong’s public viewpoints toward evening. Steps, queues and transfers count toward the day. The hillside complex and lighting are part of a lively modern visitor district, not a promise of an uncrowded historic village.

Ciqikou Ancient Town · Liziba Station · Kuixinglou Square · Hongyadong

Spend around 2–2.5 hours at the Three Gorges Museum, selecting displays on upper-Yangtze history and Chongqing’s development. Continue through Shibati and the Mountain City Trail for a combined 2.5–3 hours, with a route adapted to the slopes, steps and your preferred breaks. Museum reservation and closing days are checked for the visit.

When operating, take the scheduled Yangtze Cableway crossing; the ride itself is short, and most of the allotted time can be queues and boarding rather than 20–30 minutes airborne. Finish with around 1–1.5 hours near Jiefangbei and a guided introduction to food options. Meals and snack purchases are separately chosen before returning to the hotel.
