DAY 01Arrive in Xi’an → hotel

Your 7-day Xi’an and Mount Hua tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your driver at the Xi’an airport or railway station confirmed in your booking, then travel to your hotel by private vehicle. The day stays clear of compulsory sightseeing, allowing for arrival procedures, traffic and time to settle in. Your confirmation names the actual terminal or station and meeting point.

If you arrive early, a short independent walk and a meal near the hotel can be a comfortable first introduction. Recommendations follow the hotel location and your dietary preferences; additional guided visits are agreed separately.

DAY 02Terracotta Warriors → optional Huaqing evening show

Travel to Lintong in around 1–1.5 hours and spend the main part of the day at the Terracotta Warriors. Compare the large formations with the smaller pits and the evidence of how figures were assembled and painted. The bronze chariots require a separate transfer to their museum within Lishan Garden, so their visit needs additional time rather than being described as a room beside the pits.

The Song of Everlasting Sorrow can be booked separately at Huaqing Palace when operating, extending the return into the evening. XR interpretation and an educational archaeology session are also optional and supplier-dependent; neither promises access to conservation laboratories or original-object handling. Select the additions that fit museum time, meals and the final show session rather than stacking every option.

DAY 03City Wall → Bell & Drum Towers → Muslim Quarter → Tang banquet

Cycle a suitable section of the City Wall, allowing time for bicycle collection, stops and return rather than requiring the full circuit. Continue to the Bell and Drum Towers and the Muslim Quarter, where the guide can explain the neighbourhood and help you choose a separately paid lunch. Bicycle eligibility, hire terms and tower-entry tickets are specified in your proposal.

In the evening, attend the planned Tang Dynasty Palace banquet and stage performance, with the meal, seats and dietary needs confirmed in advance. Hanfu styling and any advertised exoskeleton-assisted cycling are optional extras, not standard equipment or a guarantee of availability. Return to your Xi’an hotel after the show.

DAY 04Shaanxi History Museum → Giant Wild Goose Pagoda → Tang evening district

At the Shaanxi History Museum, focus on selected galleries rather than trying to cover every period and object in one visit. Your guide connects the regional archaeology with the Qin and Tang places encountered on the trip. Admission is subject to the museum’s reservation and opening arrangements, and special galleries require their own confirmation.

Continue to Da Ci’en Temple and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda setting, associated with Xuanzang’s Buddhist translation work. An ascent inside the pagoda is not assumed. As the district lights up, walk Great Tang Everbright City at your own comfortable pace, with street performances dependent on the daily programme rather than promised encounters.

DAY 05Xi’an → Mount Hua → Xi’an

Make an early start for Mount Hua, allowing around 1.5–2.5 hours by road before official scenic shuttles and the chosen North or West Peak cableway. The confirmed combination determines the walking route; the two cableways have different lower stations and are not an interchangeable return ticket.

Spend several hours on the open mountain paths, selecting peaks and a turnaround point to suit your fitness, queues and the last cableway descent. Even with a lift, expect sustained stairs, steep gradients and exposure to changing weather. The South Peak plank walk is an optional, separately paid operator-controlled activity, not required for the standard visit and never guaranteed open. Return to Xi’an after the descent.

DAY 06Free day → optional culture

Today is independent, with no scheduled guide or vehicle unless an addition has been agreed. Use it to rest, revisit a favourite neighbourhood on your own or leave room after the mountain day.

Three separately paid choices retain the trip’s cultural thread: a guided Stele Forest visit to examine stone-carved calligraphy, a hands-on biangbiang noodle class, or an introduction to Qin opera makeup and costume. Book the venue, language support and participation conditions ahead; cooking tastings, costume rental and any transfers are specified in the chosen package rather than assumed for all three.
