Your Chongqing and Chengdu karst and panda tour starts with the following arrangements. Meet your guide and driver at the Chongqing airport or railway station named in your booking and travel to the hotel in a private vehicle. The arrival day has no compulsory sightseeing, leaving time for luggage, check-in and rest after the journey. The actual terminal or station and meeting point are confirmed before travel.

An early arrival can leave room for an independent neighbourhood walk and a meal of your choice. Recommendations follow your hotel location and dietary preferences; additional guiding or transport is agreed separately rather than added automatically to the arrival transfer.

Begin with around 45–60 minutes in Xiahaoli’s restored hillside lanes, then cross to Yuzhong on the scheduled Yangtze Cableway. Coordinate the road vehicle around the river crossing rather than assuming the car travels with you. Continue to Huguang Guild Hall for approximately an hour on migration, trade and the institutions that connected merchants.

Visit Luohan Temple for around 45–60 minutes, then walk near Jiefangbei and leave time for a meal and rest. Finish at Hongyadong’s public riverfront viewpoints as the evening programme allows. Religious access, cableway queues and lighting are checked separately; this remains a full city day with steps and cross-bank transfers.

Use Eling Park’s permitted viewpoints for around 45–60 minutes to read the city’s ridges and rivers, then spend roughly an hour in the nearby Second Factory creative district. Reused industrial buildings and cafés offer a different layer from yesterday’s guild and temple settings.

Stop at Liziba for around 30 minutes before a 1–1.5-hour Shancheng Alley walk on suitable slopes and steps. Coffee and food are personal choices. A visit to an operating air-raid-shelter venue is an optional advance request, not permission to enter arbitrary tunnels or a compulsory restaurant stop. Return to the Chongqing hotel.

Drive early to Wulong, allowing around 3–3.5 hours each way, and dedicate the sightseeing time to the Three Natural Bridges. Use the designated shuttle and descent elevator, then spend around 3–4 hours along the valley route under Tianlong, Qinglong and Heilong bridges, allowing for stops and the uphill exit connection.

The natural arches and collapsed-cavern landscape reward time on the ground, and the lift does not remove all steps or sustained walking. Return to Chongqing without adding Longshuixia or another major scenic area. With around 6–7 hours of driving plus the visit, meals and breaks, this is still a substantial day even with a single main attraction.

Three Natural Bridges

Drive roughly 2–2.5 hours to Dazu’s Baodingshan carvings and allow around 2.5–3 hours for the principal groups. Your guide connects religious imagery, everyday scenes and the cliff-face narrative, with access limited to areas open for conservation and visitor management.

Continue around 1–1.5 hours by road to Dazu South station, then take the confirmed second-class high-speed train to Chengdu East. The actual service, rail duration, fare scope and connection buffer are checked before booking. Your Chengdu driver meets you and transfers to the hotel; leave the evening clear after the carving visit and intercity journey.

Dazu Rock Carvings

Visit the Chengdu Panda Base early for around 3–3.5 hours, choosing the route around open enclosures and the animals’ actual care schedule. Observation from public paths introduces feeding and conservation without promising a particular panda, cubs or close contact.

Return downtown for about an hour at Wenshu Monastery and a 1–1.5-hour Jinli walk. Respect worship areas and photography rules, then choose food or craft stops at your own expense. This final sightseeing day brings the journey from large karst forms and cliff carvings to temple courtyards and ordinary city life. Stay in Chengdu.

Keep the last free time for packing, rest or a short walk near the hotel. Your driver collects you at the agreed time for the confirmed Chengdu airport or railway station, allowing the actual road journey, traffic and departure procedures.
